Look, everyone -- it's Noz! How long has it been since he's shown his scrawny self on my site? Quite a while, methinks. But he deserves more love than I give him, so I decided to show that love in the form of something pretty and filled with anime goodness.
The basis of this picture is mainly Nozic's feelings after he kills his mother and the chain falls from his shoulder. This is a GOOD thing, people. Noz's mother was what we call a bitch. She was the reason the chain was there in the first place. Therefore, her being murderized is a happy moment! Not to mention Noz is glad because he doesn't have a big freaking knife and six-foot-long chain sticking out of him that stabs him from time to time. This may not have taken eighty million years to finish, but it did take three long, straight hours of coloring. I just know that some day, carpal tunnel is going to come and bite me in the ass. But until that day comes... MORE DRAWING! 8D ... that is, once I can feel my hand again.  TIME: About three to draw and ink + three more to color + two to do the background in PS because I was stingy about it (and RPing at the same time) = Eight hours. Ouch. MATERIALS: Prismas, crappy ballpoint that stained the paper twice, Lucifer, Photoshop 5.5. Anyone who counts how many visible pieces of jewelry he has on him (and this is without his shirt on with all ITS jewelry, mind you) gets a cookie. :3 Nozic Denami (C) Moi. NO TAKEY. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Yeah, I was looking at the background and thinking "She MUST have photoshopped that...even Kate's pencils can't get that effect!" It's a really cool blending of art, though, and the background is stunning for it. I didn't know you ever used the computer for stuff like that!
Aww, he does look happy. Yay for matricide! Um, wait, let me rephrase that *sweat drop* The eyes are a little more anime than usual, aren't they. Man, he really needs to put on some weight! Poor baby.
So have you been drawing more again, now you've got nothing more to do than attend open houses, sleep in, and prepare for Europe? (Oooooo.) Why not spend all that time between RP posts reading my stuff?

I'm glad you like the background -- I'm really proud of it, even though it's fairly simple. For the most part, I learned how to do all that stuff in Graphics this year through much experimentation. 'Twas fun.
Yeah, I've been taking more time out to draw. It makes me really happy, and I can tell I'm getting better ^^ And now I don't have to worry about backgrounds anymore! Unless I wanna do something complicated, which will take forever no matter what medium I use.
