"I'm way too hot for you, babe. Get too close and you might get burned... but hey, don't be scared. It's a good kind of burn."
Oh, geez. Meet my new love: the Inferno King, Onyx, of Odin Sphere fame. He's a bit of a prick. He's a bit of an idiot. And last but not least, he's rather inept at hitting on the girl of his dreams, Gwendolyn. Okay, I lied; that's a massive understatement (she threatens to kill him several times, if that gives you any idea).
Don't worry, Onyx~ You ARE loved, even if it's not Gwendolyn doing the loving.
Though I get the feeling I'm one of the only ones who likes him >< I've yet to find a single Onyx fanart anywhere on the internet, or encounter even one other fangirl. I was lucky to find a decent screenshot. Sad, no?
MEDIA: Prismas, NEW ballpoint (YAY), drawn in pencil. Touched up in PS 5.5.
TIME: Eh, about 4 hours. His hair was a bitch.
Onyx (C) Atlus, Vanillaware. You know, the Odin Sphere guys.
It wasss >< Even with references... well, the crappy ones I could get, anyway. I hate drawing hair like that -- but coloring it is always really fun because for some reason it ends up turning out good. Loz's hair was the same
And I got to see it happen. The amazing talent of ~Cerulesta in action. I do believe we were being tortured at the time. Oh well. Amazing as always I still like my birthday present better
Anyway, yeah x3 That was a fun session, can't wait until Jack gets back so we can continue the campaign. Though of course your filler campaign will be amazing as well~
Of course you like your present better -- it has US! Therefore it is awesomeness incarnate. Uh. Right?
I've tried doing one-page manga before x3 It takes like twice as long as a normal picture does. And if I were doing REAL manga it wouldn't be colored, even though coloring is my favorite part and my strongest point. Nyeh. I still like comics, though. Might do a few omakes (four-panel crack comics) if I get a good idea.

Maybe the fact that he turns into a giant, fiery, freakish-looking lava monster is a turn-off...?
